Prayer and Discernment

Hi everyone, wow! four weeks in already and going well. Here's a wee update for those of you who are coming along on the Tuesdays (or when when you can), or praying at home or at your work place. Thank you.
The last three weeks we've been practicing the how to hear from God and noting down what that is in order to gather this together.
It is simple and everyone gets to play!
We are praying that as a Parish Family we will encounter, hear from God, and discern where the spirit leads is leading us over the next few weeks.
Next Tuesday we will begin to follow the basic morning devotion from the Prayer Book CLICK LINK HERE.

Please remember to note anything that you think God is speaking to you about (or email it to us here). If you are not sure what it is you are hearing simply use the ABC for confirmation:

• ASK a wise trusted Christian
  
• BIBLE does it align with the bible
• CONSCIENCE does it sit well with your conscience

This is a time to hear God's heart and will for the future mission and ministry in Rolleston (past, present & mostly future), especially in light of two questions:

• What does the church of the future look like?
• How do we reach people who don’t know Jesus yet?
