Hi everyone, wow! four weeks in already and going well. Here's a wee update for those of you who are coming along on the Tuesdays (or when when you can), or praying at home or at your work place. Thank you.
The last three weeks we've been practicing the how to hear from God and noting down what that is in order to gather this together. It is simple and everyone gets to play! We are praying that as a Parish Family we will encounter, hear from God, and discern where the spirit leads is leading us over the next few weeks. Next Tuesday we will begin to follow the basic morning devotion from the Prayer Book CLICK LINK HERE. You can also try the Centering Prayer at home that we are using each week CLICK LINK HERE Please remember to note anything that you think God is speaking to you about (or email it to us here). If you are not sure what it is you are hearing simply use the ABC for confirmation:
This is a time to hear God's heart and will for the future mission and ministry in Rolleston (past, present & mostly future), especially in light of two questions:
God bless you as you prepare to hear from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit :-) Sampson

A goodly number of parishioners gathered for a mock dress rehearsal wedding reception, the substitute bridal party read speeches and telegrams and spoke words of wisdom. It was a wonderful opportunity for the parish to show their love and appreciation of Benjamin and Johannah. Big thank you to all who came to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Ben and Johannah ( ten days to go!). A slideshow of photos taken from the evening is below. Our curate, Ben, is soon getting married to the wonderful Johannah. As a parish we'd love to help celebrate their coming nuptials with a party! Please see the invitation below for details...
A huge thank you to Jenny Heffer and dedicated her team for the delicious breakfast on Saturday morning. Beans, sausages, bacon, eggs, crepes, toast, cereal, fruit, tomatoes... it was all there!
