Preparations are well underway for this year's fair. The jams have been made, the onions have been pickled, the seeds have sprouted, the books have been collected, and the church is overflowing with outstanding second hand goods. Now all that's needed is a fine day on Saturday and an enormous crowd of buyers.

What a delight it was to join St Mark's Greenpark for their annual animal blessing service. On the Sunday closest to St Francis of Assisi's commemoration day, a number of churches invite animals into the pews. We bless them, and give thanks to God for their work, companionship, and love.

​This year we had 11 dogs and 2 horses join us for worship.

On the 14th of October we had our final Alpha session for the year. It has been such an incredibly journey over the last 12 weeks, getting to know more about ourselves, each other, and God. All of the participants and clergy would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved with the course. Every week we have been very well fed, supported in prayer, and blown away by Jill Jackson's stunning table decorations!
